I started developing web sites in 1994, both the front-end and the back-end. I developed small to medium web sites for small businesses, and eventually was employed by Sun Microsystems to work on their java.sun.com site.
I enjoy every aspect of building and maintaining sites from creating the HTML, JSP, and PHP pages for the user interface, to configuring web applications that access databases to create secure web sites, or tools such as forums.

The Excellent Adventure This is the site of Laureen Hudson and her family. She is very much the earthy type, who enjoys the adventures on the seas more than anything. I felt her family is best portrayed through a collage of family photos. The blogs make it easy for her to add her writing on her own, and share her wonderful adventures with the world.
San Francisco Astrological Society Designing the banner for this site was fun, as the Golden Gate Bridge is such a wonderful icon, and the night scene lent well to the rising astrological imagery in the background. In addition to completely redesigning the SFAS website, I also set up a mailing utility for them that will make sending out notifications easy.
South Bay Astrological Society is my most recent web creation. The site they had previously had was one of those black starry backgrounds that makes reading difficult. I understand the need for creative imagery, so I designed this site for them. I also added a blogs utility and an instant notification sign-up feature.
Cosmic Pathway my astrology website. I really enjoyed making the banner with the various astrological images. Also, the content is organized so it is easy to find and move through.
Kelpcritter This is my personal site. I like the tabs for site navigation, and I used my own photography for the banner. My photography is an important hobby of mine, so I wanted my personal site to reflect that interest as well as showing my color preferences.
Rhyme and Reason Recordz This is a site for a young musician who creates the instrumentals for rappers. This site suits the young in the music industry, and navigation is easy and simple. In addition, I included an MP3 player that looks like the iPODS the young adults are used to. I'm in the process of adding Paypal buttons, so people can purchase his music online.
